The Australian teak, locally called Crow’s Ash, is a “native” tree and is not found naturally anywhere else on earth other than in the north-eastern part of the continent. It is some wood with very hard wood, high breaking strength and is almost water-repellent with one of the longest aging processes among natural woods. The wood is used for shipbuilding, outdoor constructions and where its properties otherwise come into play, as well as in the furniture industry.
